新工程教育C類計畫團隊 明志科技大學工程學院於 2025 年 8 月 22 日舉辦「新工程教育計畫：苗圃共備工作坊（二）－AI × 新工程教育 × 實作經驗分享」。活動邀請明志科大校友、知名電腦書作家洪錦魁老師進行專題演講，並由工程學院院長洪國永教授接續分享海外研習的最新觀察。
洪錦魁老師以「AI 引領未來：工程教育的新挑戰與新機會」為題，帶領大家快速體驗 AI 從文字生成到多模態應用的發展。他不僅談到技術的躍進，更現場操作多種 AI 工具，示範如何將其應用於課程規劃、教材生成、互動問答設計，甚至涵蓋影音製作、虛擬化身，以及簡報與會議等行政支援，洪老師還展示了 VS Code 與 GitHub Copilot 的實際應用，說明 AI 如何在程式撰寫與除錯上發揮助力。他建議教師在課堂上，不妨嘗試用動畫、影片取代傳統文字說明，並透過 AI 協助備課、設計學習遊戲，讓課堂互動更有趣，學生的學習動機也更容易被激發。
當然，機會背後也有挑戰。洪老師提醒，學生若過度依賴 AI，可能忽略了批判思考、資料統整與原創力的養成。學習的價值在於思考、探索與理解的過程，因此，在 AI 時代，教育者更像是引導者與教練，不只是知識傳遞者，更要幫助學生培養創造力、倫理意識與 AI 素養；能與 AI 互補、協作，讓 AI 成為學習助力，而不是靠 AI 快速得到答案替代學習過程。
接續演講，洪國永院長也分享了他近期赴澳洲阿得雷德參與教學精進研習的心得。他觀察到，AI 不僅能支援以學生為中心的教學設計，更能與主動學習、同儕互動和即時回饋結合，幫助學生更勇於發問與表達意見，進一步養成獨立思考與跨域應用的能力。
透過這次交流，教師們不僅看見 AI 在教育上的多元應用，也共同思考，在運用 AI 提升效率的同時，要如何引導學生培養批判思維、創造力與 AI 素養，為未來教育找到新的定位與平衡。
On August 22, 2025, the College of Engineering at Ming Chi University of Technology hosted the New Engineering Program Seedbed Co-Preparation Workshop (II): Focus on AI × New Engineering Education × Practical Experience Sharing. Ming Chi University of Technology distinguished alumnus and best-selling author Jin-Kuei Hung demonstrated how AI can support course design, teaching materials, interactive Q&A, and multimedia production. Dean Kuo-Yung Hung also shared insights from his recent study visit to Adelaide, Australia.
Mr. Hung encouraged educators to explore animations, videos, and gamified activities to make classes more engaging, while cautioning that excessive reliance on AI could erode students’ critical thinking and creativity. He emphasized that AI should serve as a supportive tool, not a shortcut, and that true learning comes from questioning, analyzing, and creating—not merely seeking quick answers. While AI can accelerate certain tasks, depending on it too much risks undermining originality and independent thought.
The workshop invited educators to reflect on how to balance leveraging AI with nurturing students’ intellectual growth—opening fresh possibilities for the future of teaching and learning.
